Do I have to submit under my actual name?
Yes, abstracts must be submitted under the actual author names. Abstracts may not be submitted anonymously or under pseudo names.

I am unable to travel to Korea, can I participate in (or attend) the conference online?
Yes! You can participate or attend the conference either in person or online.

Do I have to present at the conference to attend?
No, you can register as an “attendee” rather than a presenter.

Are there limits on how many abstracts I can submit?
Authors may only submit one abstract as the primary (corresponding/presenting) author to this track of the conference (BTS & ARMY: A Road to SDGs and ESG). Authors may be listed as non-primary authors on more than one abstract. Authors are additionally permitted to submit abstracts to other (non-BTS) tracks of the conference.

What format can my oral presentation be in?
Your oral presentation can be virtual, pre-recorded, or offline.

Do copies of the presentation slides have to be submitted beforehand?
Yes. Slides should be submitted at least 3-4 days before the conference.

What is the format of the poster presentations? (size, file type, digital or printed?)
If you submit your posters to us, we will have them printed on poster board for display. We will provide further details regarding the file type and size specifications of the poster closer to the conference date.

How do I register for the conference?

How can I pay for my conference registration?
For those who only want to present in the BTS track (or attend the BTS track), there is no registration fee. If you wish to submit to the main conference (or attend the main conference), you can make payment on the KBR website.

If I only want to attend the conference on the day of the BTS track, is there a reduced registration fee option?
The registration fee for the entire conference is 200,000 won. If you just want to participate in the BTS session (present or attend), you can do so for free. Detailed registration information will be uploaded soon. Please check back for more information.

Do I have to pay to submit my abstract?
There is no fee for submitting an abstract for consideration.

Do I have to pay to be published?
After the conference, you may choose to publish with KBR, R3, or not at all. Publication with KBR and the R3 is free.

I am no longer able to attend the conference. What should I do?
If you submit an abstract and determine that you are no longer able to attend (in person or virtually), please contact us at bts.kbr2022@gmail.com.

What is your COVID-19 response?
Our COVID-19 response will follow any government guidelines that are active. We will announce more information near the conference in August.

What language is the conference in? and What language do I have to present in?
The official language for this conference will be English. Submitted abstracts must be in English, and oral presentations and posters must also be in English. The conference will, unfortunately, be unable to provide translation services at this time.
